Deep Release: Taught in a yang-yin style, where the first 45 minutes of the class consist of challenging hatha poses that build strength and flexibility. The focus is on alignment, breath, softening and awareness of how we move in our own bodies. The second portion of the class consists of self-massage with Yoga Tune Up massage therapy balls. Great for athletes of all disciplines, for reversing “office body”, or for anyone looking to move in a healthy and functional way, this class is an accessible but challenging all levels class.
Monday 7:30pm - 8:45pm
Flow: This invigorating class blends vinyasa and longer held poses, explores the symbiosis of movement and breath, and challenges practitioners to explore their edge in a fun and safe way. Students can expect to spend time on their hands and upside down, and to come out of this class feeling energized and refreshed.
Tuesdays 12:15pm - 1:15 pm
Yin: Yin is a slower practice that targets deeper connective tissues in the body. Through time and breath, the body starts to open at a deeper level as students build a relationship of trust with their bodies. The practice of stillness and observation is deeply embedded in this gentle and balancing practice. Students can expect to hold poses for 3-5 minutes, as well as pranayama (breath work) and meditation practice.
